Criminal Defendant Testifying on His own Behalf in Florida

The vast majority of criminal defendants never take the stand on their own behalf. However, sometimes it is necessary. Need to relax the attitude with prosecutor because you are being analyzed. Appearance is important. Do not try to out smart the prosecutor. You are not going to out lawyer the lawyer- and it usually does not go to well. The prosecutor has nothing to lose but you have your freedom at stake. Listen to the video and understand why you should or should not take the stand.
