Halfway House Representative can not Represent You in Court

Only a Florida Attorney can represent you in court. No representative from a halfway house or drug rehab facility can represent you in court. Halfway houses, in my experience, are nothing more than a legal scam to take advantage of individuals with addiction problems. They are usually run by former addicts who have found a way to make a profit from current addicts. You can call them addiction babysitters. They will note whether you are working, going to group and NA meetings, and call the court if you are not present. They can not represent anyone in a court of law because they have "no standing". Please be careful and never pay anyone other then a Florida Bar attorney to represent you in a court of law.
